The Walter Robin Manuscripts
The Comic Verses

Says Lord Walter Robin, the dread,
"This sport is like sporting in bed
When everything's through
It's not what you do,
So much as what you have said."

The musketeer may never rest
No wrong or wench left un-redressed
In every thing
He serves the King
But 'tis the Queen that he serves best!
He found a filly in the wood
He sat him in the saddle.
He rode her longer than he should
She cannot walk, but waddle.
